Add the ability to change colors, and properties in SVG CSS.
This would be huge to have!
Would be incredible to have this feature and especially since Vlad is rightly not encouraging icon fonts, this would be awesome!
Please do it!This will change the user experience!
And generally speaking, an easy way to get functional icons without too many workarounds. For example it would be great to be able to include some free collection of SVG icons in a similar fashion than adding google fonts.
One of Webflow's competitors, Froont (https://froont.com/), has this feature. Would make sense for Webflow to add it as well.
JustInMind (https://www.justinmind.com) also has the ability to color SVGs within their program. Having this ability in Webflow would be a huge productivity enhancement.
Would like to see support for this as well.
This would be huge to have!2
This would be much needed.
and would like to see some basic animation possibilities (e.g. in https://www.svgator.com).
This is something that would that would be great and speed up my workflow a ton.
I am still hoping for this soon. I commented on a related wish list item "Add color overlay and opacity on svg objects/icons EDIT: It exists! You find it under effects." (https://wishlist.webflow.com/ideas/WEBFLOW-I-223) but am putting it here too:
While I can change color with Hue Rotate, Saturate, and Brightness, I do not agree that this can be done under Effects to the preciseness that it should be able to be done. Effects does not allow me to specify an exact hex color, which is often necessary. Having to create SVGs in different colors is a time consuming pain.
Yes please! Especially for collection items this would be amazing.
Just joining the waiting list ;)
I'm new webflow user and spent too much time looking for how custom css for my svg files. It could be very (very) usefull !
Very keen. I think in order to support SVG CSS, though, we have to treat it differently from images, and embed it inline. This is needed for currentColor to work, as well as xlink clickable areas. I've added a wishlist item here for an SVG Element in webflow so these types of things can be controlled.
