This is the only thing, which I miss in webflow. Though I think this functionality would make their CMS obsolete in some cases, because you would be able to use your own (e.x. Django) CMS instead.
Yeah, it would be really cool if WF had a built-in way to access external REST API's and retrieve data in a manner similar to the built-in DB - i.e. the external data source would just be a type of "collection". That would open up so many possibilities. It should work with public services as well as those requiring authentication (a user's Google, Facebook, MailChimp, etc. account).
