Please add the function of adding a non-breaking space in the Text Field in CMS. You can also add the hot key «Shift+Space» to the Keyboard Shortcuts window. ✌️😊
That would be a great improvement! I often bump into this issue on my sites and can't do anything about it apart from creating a rich-text field instead of a plain one...

Still no solution? I'm pulling headlines from a CMS database and some of the text is being orphaned, and I really REALLY hate orphaned text. I'm pretty shocked that such a basic design feature is not implemented, along with quite a few others. Absolutely pathetic.

A sort of site-wide toggle to automatically add non-breaking spaces all text under a certain character length (4 characters) would be the ideal solution, but for now, at least let us add non-breaking spaces.

can't believe we have to discuss the need of entering a new line in June 2020 for a cms text-field... since Feb. 2018...
