Ability to download ZIP files from a Webflow site

I have many clients who would like to have zip file download functionality on their websites for things like employment application packets, brand kits(logo files, brand guides), and press kits.

It seems for now only certain image files, PDFs and Microsoft Office files are allowed to be downloaded from Webflow created websites.

Not having this feature has been a deal breaker from a lot of web design projects that are requested by clients

Admin Note:
At this time assets such as Zip files will need to be hosted externally and linked to from your Webflow site to provide downloads.

Yet another showstopper issue! My client asked to upload a zip file containing their press kit, and we were both shocked to discover its not possible with Webflow. Having to share the file via a Google Drive link looks super unprofessional. Also, whats with the 4 MB file upload limit? This feature request should be bumped to the top.

What's the status on this? It boggles my mind how this simple feature is not supported. Further more, that someone made the active decision to block most file types in the asset window. Just let us upload whatever we want!

My entire project hinges on this simple feature and I only just found out its not supported. It's clear from this thread the need is being ignored.

Is there any update on this / will it be re-reviewed? Seems to be still an important topic for many people.. :)

I thought about attaching a zip file to my comment, but doubt it would work. ;-)

I also need the option to add zip-Downloads very badly! Would be happy to have an update from the webflow-team about this.

We would like to have a press kit (zipped file) on our website containing: logos, images, pdfs, etc. Would be really helpful to allow .zip files into the CMS for this. It's been on the radar for 2-3+ years.

Agreed. My client has CAD files in .zip that need to be made available. It looks unprofesional to have the links redirect to Dropbox.

Ditto - building a site for a new client where their clients can download plugins and now discover I can't upload those files. Major embarrassment. They feel it looks unprofessional to send their customers elsewhere to get the plugins.

Hi, I wonder if there's any progress on this request please. Very handy feature to give ability for users to download zipped files. I would need this for an e-commerce website for a client selling digital products. This is the only way her clients can purchase the items.

Yes. I need this for client to be able to download image files for their logo from a styleguide (EPS, PDF, GIF, JPG, PNG SVG). I know most of these can work, but the most important EPS and PDF does not.

Can someone from Webflow provide an update on this request from 2018?

Webflow is my favorite tool to build and host websites, but like many others, my client wants site visitors to be able to download a media KIT. Not a single file, but a folder of files. I don't want to have to use a work around. Can we get this feature added ASAP????

Ugh I was so disapointed to learn that this is not an available feature. I'm building social media toolkits for multiple clients' sites at the moment and they're going to be super disapointed (if not pissed) when I tell them we have to create a google drive or dropbox to house their toolkits. This seems like it should be a super easy accomodation, no?
