Okay, this is my first time using Webflow, and at age 80 ....I'm not techie. But I love to write, and just finishing an Open Book for my Grandchildren (emails get lost) about knowing and building their worldview.

YES!, we ABSOLUTELY NEED writing tools for UNDERLINE, CENTER TEXT, INDENT, ....and SLIGHTLY LARGER BOLD TEXT (for first line of a paragraph) .......LIKE MY EMAIL PROGRAM OFFERS....

I look at the DATES for other Posts on this page from 2017, 2020 and 2021 ....and I wonder WHO IS NOT LISTENING to these comments.

.......For example, look at the options for THIS text writing area THAT ARE NOT IN Webflow's RTE??? Why? ....Sorry, I'm not negative on Webflow, I REALLY LIKE IT! ....But Webflow's development team needs some non-techie writers and graphic designers to help PERFECT the RTE.

.......Webflow, if you would like some suggestions look up my phone number in your records and give me a call. I would like to help improve your RTE for others that will follow.

    Thank you....

100% agree with Markus' points below RE sub and superscript. When do you think these features will become a reality?

I agree that more options are needed – also sub- and superscript. However, I'm sceptical about making these toolbar buttons available by default. Ideally, I would like to be able to activate/disable them depending on the project in order to restrict contributors to use only permitted styling, rather than play around as they please. Another option would be the ability to set up, and make available in the Editor toolbar, custom styles that can be applied to text. Surreal CMS has this function, and it allows great flexibility re. styling as needed.
