Publish as Draft / Unpublish a single page or CMS item without republishing entire site

The "Publish" button allows an individual CMS item / page to be published to the live site without updating the entire website. However the Save as Draft button does not have the same live functionality, requiring the entire site to be published for draft items to be removed from the live website.

This makes managing frequently published and unpublished content like job postings almost impossible to do alongside active site development as all the staged development changes site-wide would have to be pushed to the live server just to remove a single item. I have literally just had to go back and manually delete all the unfinished new site changes I've been working on just to allow the removal of a few job postings.

I reached out to Webflow customer support about this glaring issue. This was their response:

"...At the moment, you aren't able to publish individual static pages on your Webflow project.

This feature limitation is known by the team, though I agree that this could be an awesome feature to have in Webflow, I have no timeline to share at the moment as to when this will be possible. My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause..."

I have been building sites for years and have never seen this with any other system. Our agency built a site for us in webflow, and after trying to make updates - I agree with Leigh from 3 years ago - being able to publish individual pages and not the entire site is table stakes, and the fact that we can't do that is really bonkers. I truly don't understand why you guys haven't implemented this yet, and after years of people asking for this basic functionality. Honestly, what is the purpose of having a staging version if you can't selectively publish pages?

In general when you create big site on webflow the publish times are sometimes very very very slow - "nightmare" (Each publish - re-generate the entire site pages).

    Has this issue been resolved?

Is there a way to unpublish individual pages / items from a CMS collection on the live site, without publishing the entire website?

Please fix this. Basic CMS stuff and this is a real problem for any organization worth it's salt if they are consider using WF.

Team -  I am a paying customer here. Director of Digital Marketing with 16 years' experience. This is NOT a wishlist feature. This is critical for agile.  As my site iterates and we test Home Page features, I cannot have my entire site FROZEN because we are iterating on several draft pages in staging.  This is critical and your competitors have you beat. I seriously consider going back to WordPress when I come across these platform gaps. (the other huge gap is that in order to upgrade, I basically have to unpublish and republish my entire site.) That ALSO is not a wishlist feature... it's table stakes people. TABLE STAKES.
