It is very time consuming to go to every item to specify if it can be edited via the Editor View.

It would be good if I had the option to either select multiple "item" and have it apply to all of them OR

Better still be able to select an item and have it apply to child items.

This method would likely be easier to implement and easier to manage. I could apply a editable status change high up and then target specific items lower down.

So from a UX point of view just ad another check box - Apply to children?
