When you have a collection list, you can already bind it's items to a lot of very useful attributes such as images, including alt texts, BG image, BG color, Border and so on (first attachment).
But one thing that I think that could complement this functionality greatly, is to make it possible to do it with Custom Attributes (second attachment).
That would enable the use of a lot of plugins, libraries and extend the custom code possibilities (third attachment). You'd be able to create attributes like data-image="{{image from Collection}}" to use with libraries like Lazysizes and much more.

I do webcomic, and I need to load a lot of fairly Hi res images and My wife is a photographer, with blogposts containing 30 images sometimes. We absolutely need LazyLoading in the collection images !
I recently switched from squarespace to be able add lazyloading to the blog posts.
I really hope this can be added really soon...
