An empty div has a text field under a div block settings in order to type an inner html text. When a child is being nested under the same div, the text field disappears, so it's impossible to manage the inner html text (you need to remove the child first, then edit/remove the text.
It seems that there is no option to have an inner text and a child nested simultaneously.
Let's keep them both, especially for an anchor text needed for SEO!
