Custom Form input fields for personalised product orders in Ecommerce

Allow customers to enter customisation details to orders. For example, a name or personalised message can be added to a product. I have clients asking for this feature as they wish to move away from other platforms such as Etsy. But they can't because there are no customisation options for their products in Webflow.

Agreed with all the points below, this should be prioritised - I was just about to purchase an eCommerce template with you having used Webflow generally for many years.... but I can't believe you don't provide custom input fields on checkouts when personalisation is such a common requirement. Unfortunately you lose me as a long-time customer today :(

Please priorotise this as its needed in the lack of full ecommerce functipnality. Tactical solution could be to allow even basic fields (not even dropdowns and whatever) and then as your Ecommerce evolves, this may no longer be needed.

This feature is very important for ux. Lot of products need the customer add information before adding to cart.

Every other hosted ecommerce platform seems to offer this capability. With all the advanced capabilities of Webflow I am shocked that this feature does not exist. Looks like I am headed to foxycart.

About to move a fourth site to foxycart because of this short-sighted lack of functionality. Webflow you are losing valuable ecomm revenue, wake up

I want to use this for a charity event dinner.

I want the user to buy the dinner on the webflow ecommerce store and then select vegan or gluten free as meal options

Personally, for a live use case, I need to be able to add both a large text input field and a dropdown selection. I cannot use variants for the dropdown, since there are so many options (ring sizes) that it would create thousands of product variants, too many even for the most expensive plan. The client isn't interested in changing the price or managing the products based on this either, so it is irrelevant!

I think this is the same or similar for a lot of products that are made to order, which Webflow just doesn't cater for at the moment. We didn't want to complicate with using a third party at the moment, so have a follow up call to confirm these details, but it is really non-ideal and Webflow is probably losing a lot of customers by missing these features.

Essentially, enabling use of form elements within the 'add to cart' module would solve this.

I agree this would be really great and enable me to build far more things just using webflow and not needing an external cart or external embeded checkout.

Having custom input fields would also enable the use of "Datepicker" fields for bookings/appointments. So anything from hotels/airbnbs, to hairdresser appointments etc.

All could enabled with just a couple of custom input fields on products.

I'm working on an e-commerce shop and I encountered a problem with the product page:

I would like to add a form so that the customer can send a note with his order.

But a form can't be added to the add to cart block and the product setting ( add new field ) doesn't allow to add a form section.

    Please can you help me...?

I print customised products. I would love a way to receive custom options from the customer in free form fields. That would be very useful.

I'd also love it if these fields could be set to populate with CMS data. I have 200 pieces of art, and I'd like to have a single "art print" option to buy, but currently I can't tell which design a user is looking at when they are adding the Art Print to their cart.
