I wanted to suggest a feature that I believe would significantly enhance the Editor experience in Webflow.
Currently, Editors have limited access to directly manage navigation menus and footer links, as these are typically tied to static elements in the Designer. While CMS collections can provide a workaround for dynamic links, this approach often sacrifices flexibility and ease of use, especially for editors who aren’t designers.
It would be incredibly helpful if Editors could modify navigation and footer links directly within the Editor interface, without needing access to the Designer or relying on CMS-based solutions. This could work similarly to how CMS items are edited today offering a straightforward way to update text, URLs, and even reorder links.
Key benefits of this feature:
1. Editors can manage site-wide links without requiring Designer intervention.
2. It streamlines workflows for both designers and content managers.
3. It enables more intuitive content updates for clients with limited technical knowledge.
I truly believe this feature would be a game-changer for teams managing dynamic websites and improve Webflow’s overall user-friendliness for non-designers.
Thank you for considering this request, and keep up the amazing work on Webflow!
