The idea is to allow a third person in the online sales process, basically as the person who place the order for a customer.
This feature would help brands to keeps their sales centralized in the same place, with the same user experience without sacrificing the possibility to take orders directly on their website from people or brands that would never have done it otherwise because they require that third party to do so.
This include resellers (for direct sales), sales reps or intermediates of every kind, in-house staff while attending fairs or even to sell directly without using a wireless card reader (iZettle for instance). Basically in every situation when a customer wants to buy you product without being able to pay or able to get the product right away.
This feature would require a way to identify the third party (account system) as well as an automated process to notify the final customer the order is placed and must be paid. I can imagine an automated "order placed" email with a link leading to the website checkout page (were the form will be already filled, card excluded). That link could be some sort of integrated "payment link" from Stripe, already used as the built-in payment manager into Webflow
