Export CMS content as CSV

While the new Zapier integration makes it easy (well, easier) to import CMS content into Webflow through a Google Spreadsheets zap, there's currently no good way to export that content in a structured way, without coding a call to the API. A CSV or XML download option, perhaps on the "Backups" tab of the site settings dashboard, would make it possible to do a lot of great things:

1) We could transfer content from one collection slug to another via Zapier, without manually entering every item.

2) We could demonstrate to clients that their content is not "locked in" to Webflow

An ideal structure would be one file download per collection, one row per item, with one column for each field.

Good news: this is live! Now you can export your CMS Collections as CSVs to move content between sites or — if you must — between platforms. Read more on our updates page.

    Hello,

That's a perfect feature and my clients are pleased to work with it. But recently, some of them reported issues. Webflow cms recognised all data from csv files, however, whenever they mapped each field and chose the picture field trying to associate it with the image link, it didn't work and Webflow just crashed. I've found a bug report - is it possible that it can be because of the image url changes?

Really need this one, as we're doing more projects and using components, it's getting ridiculous.

Yes, the ability to down a current collection as CSV (or JSON) would be awesome.

This feature would go a long way to convince my larger clients to make the jump over to Webflow.  I'm already a believer in your platform... but it's hard to convince my clients to leave proprietary infrastructures, as archaic as they may be, if I can't demonstrate to them that they will "own" their content, and can retrieve it in a useful way if they are unhappy with the Webflow platform for some reason.
