Being able to add an emoji reaction on comments would prevent the need to write a message such as “Understood” or “Thank you” — meaning, to communicate acknowledgement.

Resolving a comment does not communicate acknowledgement (since someone could resolve a comment without reading it), and it takes more time than is needed to type and submit words for acknowledgement.

Many other software products with commenting have this capability.
