If a developer needs to run a certain amount of test orders, it would be useful for them to also delete those orders as to not forever skew the site's order analytics.
I am running into this as well. We should, at minimum, be able to delete from the API. Another option would be to activate a "TEST MODE" where those orders have the ability to delete.
