The idea would be that a user would have the ability to open up a breakpoint and then hit a button that says "break from cascade" which would then trigger Webflow to make a copy of all established classes and separate it out from the overall cascading style sheet.
From that point forward, any changes made in desktop would not hit the lower breakpoints you marked as separate.
Some people build websites from a "mobile first" mindset. You start with the smallest and work your way upward rather than starting at desktop. Webflow's cascading style system is great but it forces you to design in one direction. I would love the ability to separate a breakpoint from the group so I can focus on mobile specific design choices which I know would not cause a conflict once I reached the desktop breakpoint.
Instead, the current system requires you to hide elements for larger layouts and make copies for things which are reworked to be mobile specific. It's a little tedious and I feel having a separated breakpoint option would give users the freedom to experiment with their workflows.
