The default auto layout for any grid's child elements is from left to right then top to bottom.
Can there be a simple switch for the reverse? This means, child elements will go from top to bottom, then wrap to a new row..

You can set a Grid flow direction to column to accomplish this. Please see the attached screenshot for more context.
