Not sure why this option doesn't exist - clearly you guys have all the functionality since you allow this when people display collections on their sites, so how about exposing some sorting options for us via the API?

My particular use case is I want to get the most recently updated items from the CMS, so I can post them to Facebook, but the default sort is by date created, not date updated, so it's pretty much useless to me.
