Most businesses build websites for the following 5 main reasons:
Blogging/publishing articles
Gathering customer information via form submissions
eCommerce
Provide content to members
Scheduling appointments/sign up for events
Social (forum, commenting, etc.)
All of these features are all already supported by Wix via their owner app without relying on third-party services.
Currently, only blogging, forms, and eCommerce are available in Webflow without relying on third-party integrations. I am a freelance web designer, and managing a bunch of different third-party integrations for my clients (the business owners), and creating accounts for each of them is very difficult.
I understand Webflow is currently working on Memberships, but I would also like my clients to be able to manage bookings within Webflow without having to sign up for third-party services (haircuts, sales calls, etc.).
Many small brick-and-morter business owners are not tech-savy enough to manage multiple platforms. In their mind, if their website has a function, and their website is built with Webflow, then they should be able to manage that function within the Webflow Editor, rather than log in to different third-party sites.
