Allow filtering of items in API Merged

it would be great if the items API allowed filtering.

if i would want to look for all items that are a draft, i have to iterate through all items, possibly issuing multiple paginated requests, in order to maybe find nothing at all.

    Fully agree - API filters would be HUGE for me.

    Please also consider implementing sorting along with filtering. It's impossible to build any serious project without rich API functionality!

    Same, this would help immensely and allow us to not have to code around rate limits and collection pagination limits.
