Hi, it would be important to include the CMS reference and multi-reference fields as an option to this setup.
Because, for example, we would need to be able to connect individual users to multiple projects which we already have listed in CMS. Thus, there should be also an option on invitation to preset values that carried along the invitation process = we link correct project/s to the invitation which is then sent to a list of recipients.
That was a dedicated example. I'm sure the generalised need for those additional fields exists among larger set of your customers.*

...or the other way around: we should be able to pick the "user accounts" as a field here, inside another CMS item to be able to link users to a competition.
