In the Navigator, distinguish Display: none elements from Visibility-hidden elements.

Visibility-hidden is incredibly useful, and we use it constantly to enable/disable sections of the layout, popups, banners, etc. Such a great feature. It completely changes the design game and the production workflow.

However in the left nav, the visibility indicator looks identical to the indicator for display: none styling, which is a very different thing.

This creates a lot of confusion for the client designers to identify the right elements.

Please differentiate the indicators, maybe-

  • A full X through the eye for visibility: hidden, to indicate the element is fully suppressed

  • A grayed-out title to visually indicate its inactive element state.

Thanks!

The current icon treatment can be misleading, especially when working on large layouts with many nested elements. Adding a grayed-out label for inactive sections would make scanning the structure feel far more intuitive, almost like spotting clues in Among Us.

Using a full X over the eye icon sounds like a smart and simple solution for designers and clients alike. It would instantly communicate that the element is fully suppressed, while a faded title could represent the softer inactive state seen in layouts or even in Among Us discussions.
