I'm creating building blocks for my client. Galleries etc that all load from main Collections like images, videos, etc.

Each image or video has a "filter" field so we can filter collection lists of images or galleries to this field.

It would be great if we can incorporate collection lists in components, and then create a property so we wouldn't have to unlink the component instance to be able to filter.

An alternative, maybe easier for you, but less functional for others, would be to be able to add a property to a component that links to lightbox media.
