I'd love to see an easy way to limit character/word count when previewing blog posts on other pages. Placed next to the column text limiter it would be a great feature to quickly cap word count.
Either would work. The idea stemmed from having multiple blog posts in a collection showing on a homepage. I wanted the text to be uniform across all 3 regardless of length.
Having the ability to limit text in this fashion would be a huge time saver.

This would be great for CMS post previews to keep it neat and tidy.
Once a certain amount a characters are reached then there would be an elipsis.

Are you hoping to do this for all text elements, or when binding a text field to a heading on the canvas?
