If a user cancels their subscription they lose access to paid/gated content immediately. I would love to see the user be able to continue to access that content for the remainder of the period they have already paid for.

I agree - this is a major issue my users feel like theyre being forced to buy the next month because they cannot cancel early. Virtually every subscription platform allows you to cancel early and retain access that you paid for.
