I think it would be pretty powerful to be able to bind any element on a static page (text, image, etc.) to a specific CMS item.

Let's say you have a CMS collection of images and captions and you want to insert that content throughout the site. If you could bind an image or a text block to a specific corresponding CMS item, then updating the content in the CMS would automatically update that content globally wherever it is used on the site.

I see this as a different feature than a collection list as you would be binding a single regular static element to a specific CMS item (making it dynamic), but interested to hear what others think!
