Now that CMS site plan got a lot more expensive, I have to raise the question about why our clients are expected to cover the cost of the CMS plan. CMS functionality is a tool which is very useful in the design\building process.
Many times now I wanted to be able to use CMS to build faster and especially edit all the pages that are similar to each other but then I asked myself how I could justify the cost to the client when that makes almost no difference to them. Am I missing something here?
Just like components are a tool available to us for easier site building, the same should go for CMS capabilities, additional charges to the clients should be applied only for functionalities that they actively use.
Let me know what do you think.
