Scheduled Indexing regardless of Site Publish

Webflow's scheduled indexing (12-hour or 3 day basis) only takes place after a full site publish. If there is no full site publish - scheduled indexing does not take place.

This is problematic, as if Editors are only using single-item or scheduled publishing - then site indexing is not triggered as there has not been a full site publish, and indexing will not be triggered until the next full site publish.

Proposed Wishlist idea is for scheduled indexing to take place at 12-hour or 3 day intervals regardless of whether a site publish has taken place.

I agree, it’s frustrating that scheduled indexing only happens after a full site publish. Implementing indexing every 12 hours or 3 days, regardless of publish status, would solve the issue of missing updates between full publishes.

That's a valid concern! Scheduled indexing that relies solely on full site publishes can definitely create challenges, especially if your workflow involves frequent single-item or scheduled publishing.

The proposed Wishlist idea to have scheduled indexing occur at regular intervals regardless of full site publishes would indeed address this issue. It would ensure that content updates are indexed in a timely manner, improving site visibility and search engine optimization without relying on the timing of full publishes.

You might want to submit this idea to Webflow’s feedback portal or community forums if you haven't already. They often take user suggestions into account for future updates. In the meantime, if you find that indexing is crucial, you might consider doing manual full site publishes more frequently or looking into alternative solutions that offer more flexible indexing options.
