For products sold on subscription, currently WebFlow bills the customer per billing period however a new order isn't created. This is causing a gap in information as the fulfillment process and tracking cannot be attached and sent to a customer. Having a new order created allows us to provide tracking and fulfillment statuses and data to a customer and provide a better experience for them.
Seconding this! My new client is already going to be paying for Webflow Ecommerce and has specifically asked about this, i.e. the ability to track and fulfil users' recurring subscriptions. It seems a shortfall in the Webflow Memberships that he will need to use (and likely, as is the case with Monto) pay extra for another service to add this functionality. Please consider implementing this feature - or at least a workaround..!

Monto's native Subscriptions app for Webflow does this already!

We have an option that any renewal order from a subscription will create a new order in Monto! (you won't see it in Webflow as their API doesn't allow this).
We can also send you an email each time a subscription is renewed as well.
To use our app, change your products to one-time payments in Webflow and then add it to Monto as a subscription based on your preferences. A nice thing about Monto is we don't require customers to create an account before purchasing! So its an even more seamless experience.
