Remove Two Build Mode limitations.

I love the idea of the new build mode for marketers and was about to set up my client's site to use it, but:

1) It's not possible to add components to component slots in Build mode.

2) Components can only be added to page slots in Build mode. Adding new components to existing pages would be more important to us than being able to create new pages, so we need the flexibility of adding component sections anywhere on the pages.

Would love to see these limitations removed from Build mode--too many guardrails in Build mode I think would often result in Marketers working in Design mode where there are no guardrails.

Totally agree with this! Would also like to have it so that you could set a "always open page in build mode" option, even thoug they are owners of the page. They dont want to go in to designer and then switch

Fixing #1 would alleviate so many headaches for me. It would be awesome if clients could drop components into pre-built layouts which have slots for the components. The restrictions in build mode are too much most of the time.

    1) is an unreal limitation, was able to show my client how 'easy' it is to make the changes to components by adding ccomponents to components slots in build mode and its... not possible? what?

Completely agree with your first suggestion. Adding Components to Component Slots in Build Mode is really missing out now!
