Please make it possible to edit the default content of components in Builder Role and Editor Role.
If a client wants to change the content of a site wide CTA section for example this is not possible. He needs to switch to the Designer Role.
In the old editor (?edit) it is possible to edit the content like this. You got the message that the content your are changing is synched between multiple elements.
Please bring this back! Changing to the Designer role for this makes the Builder Role redundant.

Yes allowing the Builder role to edit components defaults would be great for Navigations and Footers as well.
This could also be resolved with component variants that can be edited and then selected. Selecting a default variant and a custom variant of a cta/footer/navigation where needed.
