The ability to add fields to the value of custom attributes for items in collection lists. Similar to how it's possible to add fields in HTML embeds inside items in collection lists.

Would be quite an update to be able to get rid of all the embed custom code for adding dynamic data-attributes to elements from collections etc.

Almost three years?! I need to add a custom release date field to the
<time>element'sdatetimeattribute of a blog post. But we also need support for empty attributes, likeitemscope.Sure, I am trying to hack around this issue with a custom code embed. However, I run into another challenge of altering the date format so that the month is not abbreviated:

This is necessary for attributing SEO metadata to things like image elements in collection items too.
