The ability to add fields to the value of custom attributes for items in collection lists. Similar to how it's possible to add fields in HTML embeds inside items in collection lists.
How in the world is this not possible! There's had to be hundreds if not thousands of people with a use case for this functionality. 3 years! This is unbelievable.
Almost three years?! I need to add a custom release date field to the <time> element's datetime attribute of a blog post. But we also need support for empty attributes, like itemscope.
Sure, I am trying to hack around this issue with a custom code embed. However, I run into another challenge of altering the date format so that the month is not abbreviated:
