This avoids duplication on post title and the post title/urls can be changes later without affecting posted links.
Like this:
www.domain.com/blog/my-blog-post-name/ID-123456
Then:
www.domain.com/ID-123456 will lead to: www.domain.com/blog/my-NEW-blog-post-name/ID-123456
