Populate form elements with CMS collection data

It would be nice to be able to populate form elements (select, radio, checkboxes) with content from a CMS Collection.

For the ability to send form data to the CMS, see this idea: https://wishlist.webflow.com/ideas/WEBFLOW-I-663

And it would be great to know from witch form a mail was send if it´s on a dynamic template page.

Curious...so is this same thing, as if a collection was created, let's say a blog. Where you can create a blog post when logged in, but instead of only logged-in admins, make that form within the system be made available to the public so they can submit their own blog post. In this case, we are trying to create an Event submission form, and would like the data submitted by the public, to be inserted as an event collection post that needs approval and editing.

Right now, my only recourse, is to use Zaper: https://help.webflow.com/article/using-zapier-to-add-cms-items

Please let me know if this is the same thing. Thanks in advance.

Although it's not elegant, it's possible to make this work now using JQUERY combined with a COLLECTION LIST. Use the Collection List to emit JQUERY chunks that populate your SELECT dropdown.

Note that to make this work I had to duplicate the JQUERY library reference in the page header, since WebFlow emits theirs in the footer- after all the body content is emitted.

I am still surprised, this has so few votes. We spend so much time manually updating lists in forms...

This needs to exist. Perfect example use case is a client of mine that would rather have an 'enquire now' form for each of her artworks rather than the option of buying online. We currently can't set dynamic form names in the product template so we don't know which artwork the User is enquiring about without adding a dropdown asking the user to select the artwork they're currently viewing.
