Nested Collection Lists, formerly called Dynamic List, have many applications, like multi-reference tags within a Collection Lists item or deeper linking/connections between CMS content.
Good news! We've officially launched the ability to nest a 'child' collection into a 'parent' collection in your designs. Read all about it →
Thanks! but at least a 10 item limit would be better... A 5-item limit really doesn't solve much usage cases...
The 5-item limit makes it useless in about half the cases out there. Still waiting for this to be really implemented.
Please, please, please remove the 5 item limit on nested CMSs. Just 5 tags it really hard to manage.
Thank you! I have been waiting very long for this. But I can't use it because there is a limit, and you made it so you can only have 1 nested collection list per page.
Would also be great if it was possible to make deeper linking. So you could use data from a cms reference's cms reference. I have a long list of products, where I as of right now need to link it twice.
Thank you, WebFlow! Please remove the limit on nesting of collection lists.
Awesome feature well exiquited.
One more step towards perfection.
Yes! Thank you Webflow.
Awesome! Keep up the good work!
Wow I just voted on this yesterday! What an awesome surprise!!! thanks Webflow!
Great news - does this mean that we will be able to add multi image fields into collecton lists in the near future as per: https://university.webflow.com/article/cms-multi-image-field
"Why can't I show Multi-image Field data in a Collection List connected to the Collection?
At the moment, you can show Multi-image Field values only on a Collection page, and not within a Collection List. Support for nested Collection lists is planned. Vote for and subscribe to status updates of this feature request."
Wonderful! Thank you! Looking forward to using this!
Wow you shipped it the very same day I voted and commented on this item. Talk about perfect timing! Thanks Webflow team!
Uhhhhh???? Where is this?
Please please please!
This is tagged "Planning". When? There are forum posts going back to 2015 asking for this. I just had to once again tell a client I can't do what they're asking me to do. For the love of God, at least let us output a multi-reference field inside a collection list. It's 2020.
When will this be available?
This is overdue...
