Adding a new form field requires tinkering of each setting to get it to look at feel like the others. Being able to duplicate form field, or have a "format painter" option would help speed up the process dramatically

You should be able to make this process much easier by creating a form field class containing your desired style attributes and using it across form field elements i.e. text field, text are and select field. You may of course need to add in combo classes on a select field and text area field to customize them a bit further.
