Nested Collection Lists is a start, but we need more nesting options!
Here is an example:
I'm working on a website for a restaurant, and I'm setting up a page for their menu.
I've created 3 Collections: Menu Item, Menu Categories and Allergies.
Inside the Menu Item collection you can select 1 category and multiple allergies from the other collections.
On the page I would like to add a collection with the categories, and inside this collection add another collection with the menu items containing the category. And inside the menu item collection add another collection with.
But this isn't possible.
Then with the limitation of only have 1 nested collection pr page, I'm now forced to drop the allergies collection all togheter.
I want to find a way to check whether a value "n" is in a nested list. The nested list can be do an arbitrary depth, for example:
alist = [1,2,3,[4, [5]]]
In this collection add another collection with the menu items containing the category. And inside the menu item collection add another collection with. https://www.exactinside.com/HPE0-J68-exactdumps.html
Please :)
Having a limit of just one nested collection list per page is quite disappointing. Even in the Webflow University video, this would have created a problem if the same page had to have multiple sections with each section showing Taco Bell outlets in a certain state.
Each section would then have required a different collection list and the nesting limit would have created problems. Taco Bell would being delicious would no longer have been objectively correct...jk.
Really need this feature. I understand the reasoning for performance reasons, but I feel like webflow should give devs/designers the freedom to decide what breaks their site and what doesn't. I could add tons of lottie animations to a page as well and slow down my site performance. Or some janky custom javascript code and break my page. It's too restricting in my opinion to limit nesting based only on performance reasons. Give us the benefit of the doubt please :)
Remove the number of nested collections all together.. :(
Please!
