Bring Back Client Billing! Merged

This is a very unsuspected and disruptive change to our business as I'm sure it was to many. This was one of the main reasons we started using Webflow in the first place. We used to use QuickBooks with reoccurring invoicing but found it to be very hard to mange a large amount of clients. With Webflow Client billing it's much easier, the customer plugs their card info in once and everything is taken care of from there. The beauty of Webflow is you can handle everything in one easy to use dashboard and everything is vertically integrated, design, hosting, and client billing. But now client billing is just gone making it more complicated to charge customers once again. I can't believe you guys would just unexpectedly remove such a crucial feature. 👎😡

Make sure you're talking to the right person.

    Introduce yourself.

Have a good idea of what you want.

    Get straight to the point.

    Speak calmly and clearly.

Do not let the emotions get the better of you.

Summarize everything at the end of the call.

Electric Mustard Mustard, Yes I have a platform suggestion. I actually used to use Duda and just recently move to Webflow because they offered client billing. But now ironically Webflow removed client billing and Duda just started client billing. So I guess duda is a pretty good alternative. 🤦‍♂️

Awful change. Anybody have any other platform suggestions?

It really complicates things because back when I used to do recurring payments on my QuickBooks account there were times when I would pay for a customer's website but their payment didn't go thru that month. Well, I lost money on their hosting that month and I turned their website off as a penalty. But I still had to go out of my way to chase this person down for $30. If a couple of clients do this at the same time you can see how counter productive it is. It's just best that they are responsible for paying the bill for their own website hosting and we just charge them for developing and maintaining it. This feature simplifies the payment process tremendously so we can just focus on building great websites.
