Ability to password-protect individual collection items

I've found numerous forum and wishlist posts dating back years asking for the ability to password-protect unique collection list items, rather than one single password for the entire collection. Alas, this capability still has not been added yet.


This is a critically important capability for someone like me, who uses a Webflow CMS collection for my portfolio and I need to be able to password-protect some projects, while not needing to password-protect others. Currently, it's all or nothing—everything needs to go behind the lone password, or nothing goes behind the lone password. This really is incredibly frustrating and very limiting. For how robust and powerful Webflow is in so many regards, it feels odd and surprising that this is the one thing it can't do??


The few workarounds for this issue that some folks have shared in forum comments are honestly quite convoluted and seem janky & unsecure, not to mention incredibly complicated and time consuming.

There is a clear, consistent, and persistent desire for this feature! Please build it ASAP!!


I'm beginning to feel as if I've waited long enough for this capability to be added, and I may need to look to competitors for my portfolio soon if this capability is not added soon.
