Easily embed custom code (such as code from a third party) into the Webflow rich text editor.
You can now use custom code in rich text elements! This new ability should help you (or any editors) maximize long-form content by enriching it with third-party embeds, HTML, CSS or even Javascript. Learn more about the new release.
Yes pleaseeee, this will take the CMS to the next level
What's the difference between this idea and the "embed" element or the custom page head and page body code editor?
Finally. In Planning. Please keep us updated @Jason Zucchetto!
Some of us :p have maxed out our votes for this feature!
yesterday was too late
This is must have for variety in blog page content. It works out of the box for likes of WordPress and would really turn Webflow is a serious contender for blogging CMS.
Would appreciate an update on where this is in the backlog!
I would love to be able to style each post better with putting custom code in the rich text area!
Super urgent feature. Webflow any updates?
Hey webflow team,
it is almost 1.5 years since this wish was opened and it is still in the backlog. Can you please give us an update? This feature is an absolute novelty for many bloggers when choosing their blog system and a standard in any other system. Currently, there is no alternative or possibility to use a third-party solution for this. So please don't let us stand in the rain and Webflow brings the added value that is highly relevant for many bloggers.
Thanks a lot!
Saw Sam's content about Story Chief -- is that officially how Wenflow is addressing this? Was hoping for more native improvements...
Hi all,
The Webflow integration for StoryChief has just launched. With StoryChief you can embed content from many websites and services straight into your posts. We are also developing the option to add code from any platform.
You can find out more about our Webflow integration and how StoryChief can help your content marketing at the link below:

I'm obsessed with Webflow. We migrated our company website (praetorian.com) to Webflow during a redesign two years ago. Not having table support, code syntax highlighting, or the ability to insert custom code embeds within a blog post's body content is the only reason I haven't migrated our company's blog. Huge pain point.
Essential to compete with other CMS
Is there an update on this?
+1, please, this was a bit of misinformation when we were told by the webflow rep that we could export our WP site and import it in to Webflow CMS. Nobody felt like mentioning our video + audio content would vanish.
Definitely needed to add call to actions in middle of blog posts!
OMG we need this!!!!
It doesn't make sense that we can't insert adsense ad in between paragraph.
So excited to see this in the backlog. It is a huge pain point currently - hope the feature ships soon!
Very very important for us too.
Is there an ETA on this?
Bumping this !
Any webflow staff care to comment ?
and @Cameron - I like your code editor idea as well, I use code pen frequently. But this idea here is about the rich text editor, adding custom html to the RTF, now the UI of the editor.
